Great Customer Service and High Quality of Workmanship Many Thanks Beacon Lofts.... Our loft extension in SW18 was completed by Beacon Lofts in late 2021. The complete process with Beacon was clear, organised and easy to understand. All costs were fully scheduled and any exclusions clearly listed for complete transparency. The Beacon team were friendly and polite, any questions we had were answered quickly and any issues we had were sorted with no fuss. Having had other building works undertaken (by another company) which was a nightmare.the experience with Beacon was the complete opposite and a breath of fresh air. We cant recommend highly enough. We would also like to thank the Beacon appointed Builder Alex who was amazing, the quality of the build provided was great and we are more than happy with the end result. Many thanks Beacon and Alex.

We instructed Beacon to build our single story extension project in Purley, South London in early 2018. To begin, we liaised with Kieran and he was polite, patient, quick in producing quotes and responding to our questions (which was a big deal for us as we were build-first-timers!). Having started the build in March 2018, the Beacon team finished work less than four months later, which we were really happy with. When building, we were cared for by Gus, the build director. Gus is a very reasonable man and will listen to all your points calmly and patiently. He will ensure the build goes to plan and will always be available on the phone if you have a question or three. The build team, led by Gheorge, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Gheorge in particular is just fantastic. No issue was ever too big and no problem was ever insurmountable. No matter what the build is, problems will always arise, but Geo and his team deal with them politely, quickly and efficiently. They were such a pleasure to have around that, when the build was finished, my wife actually missed having them in the house! You hear horror stories with builders out there, but in our experience with Beacon over four months, no one ever lost their patience, no one ever expected anything unreasonable from us as customers and most importantly we were always able to raise our concerns, if any, without feeling pressured in any way. We would recommend Beacon and Geos team wholeheartedly. Important Edit to review: Three years down the line, our extension roof was leaking. Beacon came in to check quickly and, again, with the utmost patience and respect. While this could have been a fantastically stressful endeavour with most other builders we have come across, Beacon came in, assessed the damage, agreed this would be fixable under their 10 year warranty, and replaced the whole roof including tiles and no cost to us. Fantastic experience - we will never use any other builders again. Thank you again to Gheorge, Gus and the rest of the team @ Beacon.

Danny is the team leader for my project. He is dedicated for the whole project and stay on top of everything. He finished my new loft and porch and created the open floor plan on my ground floor in high quality finish. Gus is the project manager who explains the options on different work and supervise the project professionally. Alice in the office manages the parking permit, building control and logistics so it is hassles free for me. Although there is occasionally missing items in the contract or structure calculations, the team is willing to honour our black and white in the previous email and work out a solution professionally. Both me and my wife love the new home!

We used these guys at our last house. Our renovation was small in comparison to what they usually undertake and we definitely didn't have the level of project management or skillset that was promised. This made the whole process really stressful as we were paying a lot for not all that much. Lots of additional costs such as electrical sign offs as well as ambiguity around what was included in terms of materials. Light fittings etc. In the end the finish was ok, though I could tell the work was overrunning and the last of the work was rushed (very much did things that were easy rather than best practice) The builders assigned to the second part of our build did not get on either and ended up having some monumental rows in Polish on our driveway. Slight language barrier between us and the builders also - unfortunately resulting in some oddly placed items (sockets and radiators). Also don't get them to decorate.. after paying above market rate to have our rooms decorated our builder admitted he hated decorating.. this showed too. They may do stunning work for others but I really think this is down to the size of job and team you get.
