Very good counseling for bereavement.

I was offered bereavement counselling 4 months after my father passed away. Even though there was a long waiting list, the help I received and the guidance really made me understand the pain I was feeling. My counsellor was very professional and I am forever grateful to have found them.Thank you for all your help!

What is the point of this service when you fill out a form following a traumatic event and get no response? Even if there are backlogs this is such a terrible time for survivors I would expect a reply to explain. UTTERLY SHAMEFUL!!!

All my interactions with them have been brilliant - from first contact after being referred to my GP, to the assessment, the actual counselling sessions themselves and the 'admin' side of arranging appointments etc. It's a tragedy they've lost a lot of funding (which means the waiting list is quite long) but the staff are really kind and caring and very much respond to you as an individual. I would highly recommend if you need some support after a bereavement.
