OVO Energy

For months trying to get in touch in regards of installing smart meters. but never managed to get through to customer service. Last Saturday was the best. I've messaged on WhatsApp at 1:10PM and the reply was "Just to let you know our contact centre is now closed. Our opening hours for WhatsApp a...09:00 to 14:00 Saturday. You dont need to do anything, well get back to you during these hours." Of course nobody got back me ever. I have to switch to Scottish Power to get smart meters as they have just installed them in my other house. I have no other option. Impossible to get in touch with OVO. Now I'm a call to them just for fun this time. Like a daily routine, some workout, breakfast, spend 2 hours waiting for someone at OVO to pick up the phone.

Overcharged for nearly 400 - whenever you call, they are closed for staff training. Online chat ended on multiple occasions mid-conversation. Emails send don't get responded for minimum 3 weeks. Impossible to get through.

Dreadful customer service. Do not join. If you are with them. Try to leave immediately. They are incompetent.

You could already see from other reviews that Ovo is just uselessthey organisation strategy needs to have a complete flip. They sell wishy washy corporate promises but delivers the opposite. I guess the only way to change is from the top. Wont be surprised if this they file for chapter 11.
