We visited as a last minute thing to do with our 3 children before they returned to school after the Easter holidays and the tickets were very cheap for a family of 5. We had visited before years prior and wasn't that impressed then but thought we would give it another go! There was no que to get in and we were greeted by friendly staff. They didn't seem to check the tickets properly, just a quick glance at them and we were sent on our way. Sadly though we were again pretty disappointed pretty much immediately into the visit. The place overall looked run down, outdated and grotty. Dinosaurs were broken and tacky looking! The reptile house and the animal farm was unkept and the animals living conditions were horrid. It was just such a shame as it is a place that could have such great potential with the right care and investment but we certainly will not be visiting again.
