We stayed at Chandlers Lodge for 4 nights as we were walking a section of the South West Coast Path from Tintagel to Newquay and it was a good base for us. From booking to arrival Rob kept us informed. Chandlers Lodge has been refurbished to an excellent standard. We found the rooms to be spotless and the facilities within had everything we needed, with a good selection of refreshments, the bed was very comfortable and we had lovely hot showers. There was also a bath. The selection and quality of the breakfasts were great and nothing was too much trouble for Rob. His knowledge of the area and where to eat was very helpful to us and one of the evenings Rob, who is also a chef, cooked a lovely homemade Red Thai curry. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the Camelford area, this is the place to stay. Rob and Nat were great hosts and we would certainly go back, should we return to the area again.

Always great to be back at Chandlers. The room was immaculate as ever and the food was particularly tasty, matched to my specific dietary requirements. Rob also made my 91 year old Dad and my sister very welcome for a coffee after a short tour of the area. Lovely family and the feeling spreads through the place. Looking forward to my next visit!

Rooms: Beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Exceptionally clean and spacious Nearby activities: The B&B is situated in a great location which is very close to most of the beautiful towns in the north of Cornwall. So easy to get to by car. A must visit is Tintagel Castle(which is very close by) But easy to get to Padstow, St Isaac, Clovelly and Bocastle as well. Food & drinks: What fab breakfast !! Fruit, muesli & yoghurt to start with, then freshly baked bread and a full English breakfast superbly cooked by our host Rob. If you can still find space for a freshly baked warm croissant have it with your freshly brewed coffee Noteworthy details: Historic B&B, beautifully and lovingly restored by the owners Rob and Nat. A lot of attention to detail for the little things that count. They are very informative of the region and are very helpful with any info you might need. In room selection of cookies to have with a tea of your choice or a brewed coffee with fresh milk freely available in your room. Hands down the best breakfast I have been served! We will certainly be back
