The Albert

I'm a massive pub fun, so I might not always be the best person to ask - since I like them all. The Albert has a beautiful beer garden, comfortable seating, great beer and that cozy atmosphere I'm in love with. Food was ok, service was great and atmosphere is lively and happy.

I have previously rated this 5* and as a local have enjoyed the beer garden and the pub itself a lot. Today has, been frankly horrific. I appreciate a sunny bank holiday Saturday will be busy but having waited about an hour for a burger that was my 2bd choice as my first choice had sold out, I was informed they had no burgers left (though the lady and her little boy beside me who ordered a long time after me got theirs). I was offered a full refund and a chicken burger. I appreciated the gesture as I was very hungry. I had to queue for another drink and my food finally turned up. To to my total disgust the chicken burger was completely raw in the middle. I refused another one as I actually feel quite sick now. I guess eat here at your peril and avoid busy sunny days....
