Contravention for the national road a20 deviation. I have been fined by UK Police, for driving the A20 madisone - ashford section of the trunk road 300 with access to ashford check in while all roads are closed to traffic with access to ashford or dover, without negotiation, paid quickly under threat of arrest and grounding of the vehicle and a parking deposit. 90% of vehicles let go, and when I asked why that is, the policewoman replied that they had no parking space. Additionally, some drivers traveling to Ashford also let go without a ticket. There was no prohibition, no sign, nothing. I tried to consult the embassy but they don't work on Saturdays. They told me to go back to madison and take the m20 to ashford then to dover where i declined as the road was closed. I'm frustrated and worried about my next post because it looks very weird. The real East of Europe. You pay, you leave, anarchy. Normally the police have to turn everyone around at the roundabout if necessary.
