There is a terribly bitter and angry old man behind the bar. He was rude to me the entire night, and it all started because he was irritated that I was inquiring about the different wines they offered I wanted to taste one before purchasing it I do this at every single venue Ive ever been to and Ive never had a reaction like his! He was already irritated at my question to begin with, putting his arms out as though I was trying to drain the bar of wine. Tasting wine is extremely normal. He claimed all he had left was Shiraz or merlot, so Id asked to try one. He brought over a bottle of Malbec, which as soon as I saw I was delighted to have as thats what I wanted initially.. so he really should have some training on wines so he can understand what i was asking of him was not exceptionally weird. He even very rudely asked me if I wanted a straw with my wine as I was leaving. During the end of the night I had an item balanced on my head, something I do all the time and is a skill of mine. It was a plastic water bottle and no matter how many times it would have dropped, the laws of physics on this earth wouldnt allow a disposable plastic water bottle to break. He came over and shouted at me claiming IM NOT GONNA CLEAN IT UP WHEN IT BREAKS he snuck up behind me and I turn around all I see is an old man hunching over me in my personal space and grabs my water bottle, continues to shout in my face with his bitter angry breath and spit millimetres away from me. He has absolutely no right to shout at any customers that way, especially a customer that was causing NO harm to anyone. Please let this man know, the times of misogyny and belittling of young women are over, and his actions are no longer accepted in this society. He can choose to fossilise in his self hatred which he projects into everyone, or he should try opening his mind to the possibility that happiness is a choice.
