Cannot recommend Julie more. She offers quality 1 on 1 french lessons at a reasonable price. I have been taught by her over the past two years and my French improved from borderline DELF A2 to DELF B2. I am now using French for client-facing work. Not only Julie genuinely cares about the improvement of her students french skills, but she also makes the lesson fun, which made me continue with her.

I have been having lessons with Julie for a few years, and they have completely changed how I can experience life in France. I began to spend a lot of time in France, and with almost no knowledge of the language, each simple social encounter was stressful. After working with Julie, I can much more easily find my way through daily life in France and even enjoy shopping at the weekly market or buying a bottle of wine. I appreciate that the lessons are well balanced, with a significant focus on spoken language but sufficient emphasis on grammar, structure and vocabulary. Overall Julie has been a skillful, encouraging and cheerful guide on this journey into learning French. I'm particularly impressed with her ability to know when to step in and correct and when to let a minor mistake go for the sake of progress. I think it's an essential skill when doing this kind of teaching.
