Attended their Blues Kitchen venue a few months ago. A great venue with great music. However, on entry, a member of their door staff knocked my phone from my hand. The staff member apoligised but the phone screen was completely smashed to pieces. As it cost me over 100 to repair, was a massive inconvenience and the fact the staff member admitted their fault in the smashing of the screen, I reached out to Blues Kitchen over social media to see if they could offer some form of compensation. A member of their team got back to me promptly, apologising for the damage done to the phone and suggesting I email an address attached to the Columbo Group (who manage the venue). So, I emailed the address as advised. Nearly 3 months and multiple emails later and I am yet to receive a response. Even after getting back in touch with Blues Kitchen to ask for an alternative email, I continue to be ignored. I find the expense caused, lack of compensation offered and the venue and companies silence to be completely unacceptable and terrible customer service. Because of this I feel I have no option but to leave this review on both Blues Kitchen and the Columbo Groups pages.

Great company. They are only a few organizations truly independent and that really improves the music scene in London. They are one of them.

They are putting their own money to support their venues like The Jazz Caffe (forced to pay an extortionate amount of money to the landlords during the whole lock-down period, do discounts, no holiday) in these difficult times! We can support them by going to see their great concerts!
