I wouldnt go back in if I had any other option. They unfortunately ended up costing me money and the manager was unbelievably rude

My experience with Giant Camden has been really great and easy. I bought a Langma womens road bike last week and was assisted by Farouk, who is very friendly and has incredible knowledge! As this is my first Carbon road bike, Farouk has been very patient in explaining all the bits and bobs along the way as well as being committed to helping me find a perfect saddle fit!

My buying experience at Giant Camden was first class and an absolute joy throughout. The Giant buying process ensures the rider ends up with the bike best suited to their needs in a friendly and welcoming environment. I was guided by Farouk who has in-depth knowledge and experience; I am already feeling the benefit of the bike fit he suggested for me on the new bike. Needless to say, the bikes themselves are very high quality and represent excellent value compared to Giants competitors (I purchased the Propel Advanced shown in the picture which is an absolute weapon!). Thanks again to Nick and Farouk. Im looking forward to coming back for a service and updating you on my training on the new bike.

Edit to respond to the owner: Let me reiterate the point I made, as it seems it didn't come across: you should not decide over the phone that a defect is because the customer did not know how to assemble the bike, without seeing the bike first. You should not tell the customer they will be charged, before you see the bike and determine what the problem is. Seems like the folks at Halfords had no trouble doing both things right, for free and wile offering advice and an overall friendly customer service. ---- Original review Beware, they don't honour the warranty for your bike! I bought a Giant bike online, and had a problem with the brakes. Since it's under warranty, I called the store and the person answering the phone was very unhelpful and difficult to talk to. He told me I'd have to pay 60 pounds or more for repair of a new bike, even though it was under warranty, because it was an assembly problem, not manufacturing. The guy decided this without ever seeing the bike. First, I find this offensive, implying that I can't even do basic setup, when I've been riding for years. Second, you don't decide it's the customers fault, without first seeing the bike. So I took the bike to Halfords, where they confirmed the issue was a manufacturing one (bent disc), and fixed it for free. Think twice before buying bikes here, or at least make sure you have another insurance that covers problems with the bike, as here it seems, they aim to rip you off.
