My wife and I were looking for a sofa. The staff were helpful and not too pushy, telling us about the sofas we were interested in. We chose a 3 seater and matching 2 seater sofa. There is a 10 week wait for delivery, but that is OK for us.

This is the third sofa I've had from DFS. Yes they're a bit pricy but they are well built and the spray they cover your sofa in really does repel muck. The service this time was even better than last time. Very happy and will almost certainly be going again in the next 5 to 7 years when I need another new sofa.

Awful wouldn't recommend going at all. We called in one Saturday found the sofa we liked it was very busy and we had the children with us and told the wait was just over an hour so we returned the following weekend with no children. We were told the staff were dealing with other people but we were in the queue to be seen. We waited and waited and waited patiently to order. Finally after a hour and 15 minutes the staff member said you are next I'm just taking this persons payment. Payment completed we think great. However a woman goes running up to the staff member says "I've seen a sofa in your second hand area I need to buy it now I can't wait as I've got things to do". The staff member then walks off with the lady. We were left absolutely shell shocked we had waited that long to do our order and someone can run in and be seen straight away. They lost our custom and we definitely wouldn't return again. I completely appreciate it's a busy store but put more staff on if you can't keep up with demand and if people have been waiting a long while serve them and explain it other customers if they come that you have other people who have been waiting a long time. Go elsewhere if you want to actually be served.
