Had the Valentine's day special menu and it was excellent from start to finish, for a very reasonable price. I will definitely go there again.

I hope I won't offend anyone by giving this review, I just want to be totally honest. This is an authentic Italian restaurant, however it was what I consider an average Italian restaurant, without anything memorable, food wise. I have doubts that some of the food served is not actually cooked from scratch but industrially made and imported (like the insalata di mare and the desserts for example). The seafood linguine again it was nice but not great. The only great part about the restaurant was the service as all the staff was really nice and friendly, in fact for this reason we paid the cheeky 12% tip (which was apparently optional but was actually already added to the bill), which I normally would ask to remove it and lower it down to 10% but we didn't. However I felt it was a bit cunning that when we paid by card there was also an option to give another tip on top of the service charge already included, which of course we didn't pay.

The staff were very lovely, however the food was very disappointing. The fritto de mare starter was dry and salty, the main which was a prawn pasta, only appeared to have one prawn which was totally raw. We sent it back only to have the chef say the prawns were there just at the bottom and the dish as it was supposed to be...hot pasta over raw prawns?! The lamb chop main was distinctly average. Overall a poor experience, we go out to restaurants to get better food you can cook yourself at home but we could very much cooked a better meal ourselves.
