The food and service were very nice. The menu has a fixed price which reflects the quality of the food. It can be pricey if you also have wine. It reminded me a little bit of a restaurant we used to visit in Chiswick - le Vacherin but much smaller and intimate. The steak tartare, which is not so often found on menus in England, I found particularly delicious. I thought we had found a gem of a restaurant in Cambridge (which obviously has a lot less choice than London). Unfortunately there was an extremely drunk and verbally abusive old lady on the table next to us who started making really nasty insults at me which upset me a lot and completely ruined the experience. Im not sure I would want to return because of that experience. (We had been there celebrating our anniversary)

Outstandingly good, cannot recommend it highly enough. Wonderful food, lovely, friendly, and attentive staff, amazing dishes to suit all tastes and an excellent wine list, make this a top destination, easily up there with the very best that Cambridge has to offer.
