As a fan of German beers the draft Benediktner and Kstritzer albeit somewhat pricey are the best points of the pub for me, as well as the multi-level beer garden when it's warm enough, and the variety of different spaces available. The book swap shelf is also a nice touch. I do wish it wasn't so food-focused, and I recommend avoiding peak eating hours when it tends to be overcrowded and have a somewhat overpowering food aroma.

Really friendly staff who didnt mind my slightly over excitable puppy, made sure to offer water for him without me asking. Truly a dog friendly venue. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I didn't try the food, but will remedy that on my next visit. Also slightly off the tourist routes so no annoying over inflated prices that you find vloser to the centre of town.
