The Maypole

A shame about the experience here as the beer was lovely and the male member of staff was very friendly and polite but I was here with 24 others who had come from Bedford especially to enjoy the Maypole however they were shutting at 2.30pm on a bank holiday which baffles me they got rid of a full pub however we all respect that they were closing. A lady named Anastasia reminded us all 3 times to drink up when we were all nearly done anyway ready to move on and already started gathering our things. She informed us rudely that it was her bank holiday too and generally had a bad attitude, I suspect she's in the wrong job as she was snapping at a lot of the customers so clearly very bad at customer service and I manage a pub in Bedford myself so know how to treat people fairly in the business.

A Nice pub in Cambridge. The beer is good and the burgers too.

Outstanding, as always. Family run, the whole place is just the best a pub can be.
