This is a real pub. Not a tacky Greene King or Wetherspoons. This is a real pub. Probably the best Cambridge Pub I have been in since the Flying Pig closed. The staff are really polite, chatty, knowledgeable with their products and have great taste in music that is played in the bar! it's a nice atmosphere and I was able to strike up some conversations while enjoying a pint of cider and some delicious Greek souvlaki (which is also 5*) from Tzatziki (a seperate food vendor on their site, there is no pub kitchen). Most remarkable though was the sheer variety of actual ciders, and all of which were 5 a pint (reasonable for Cambridge). They had such a vast selection of genuine dry, medium and sweet ciders. None of that tacky Pinch's or bog standard Strongbow, or soft Koppaburgs but real, hard Ciders with the smokey aged oak taste that comes with the authentic country brewed style of Norfolk and Suffolk, or France's Cidre's. A 10/10 pub.
