Soo disappointed and ashamed myself being senior physiotherapist in private clinic (unfortunately to get MRI referral need to go NHS pathway which is such a waste of public money and doesnt have any logic sense but..- never mind) Long term ongoing issue with obvious symptoms of TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome) also been checked and diagnosed by ex top physio for British Sky Team. Seen MSK specialist who assumed its carpel tunnel - did only 2 tests (phalens and tinnels test) which would be positive anyway with TOS - no basic assessment checking and feeling movement of thoracic spine, neck movement had something to investigate but ignored, no check of strength for upper limb, no functional dynamic test, no upper neuro dynamic tests (kind of slump test, straight leg raise tests for sciatic nerve but for upper limb), hasnt done PAIVM for neck neither thoracic, didnt check scalene muscles (trying to release tension on this muscles - getting my symptoms but this was missed too). Explaining TOS is very rare condition - yes, but very often misdiagnosed or diagnosed too late. Ive been told - they first want to clear symptoms in hands before open up around chest - seriously? So patients with sciatic pain (prolapsed disc or/and deep gluteal pain -previously called piriformis syndrome- with pain going down through leg and tingling, numb foot - first you will let slice the foot coz is numb?? - seriously?? sooo poor knowledge of NHS physio - shame .. what about standard rule checking joint below and above too ??? My colleague profession wise - didnt respect what I came with, after self diagnosed and double diagnosed by very experienced physio who was choosen between many to treat and look after British Cyclists Sky Team - not doing basic assessment and tests - just making her own diagnose - scary And sorry for all patients who dont have medical background.. and apparently they are underpaid and going for strikes - in my opinion they are overpaid for service they provide .. Also- heard I can be wrong with my diagnose and Im happy to be wrong - omg I cant imagine telling this to my patient coming with knee pain and having all obvious symptoms for meniscal tear but not doing basics tests - just asking to do single leg squat and coz its positive to pain - diagnose with tendinopathy - and Im happy to be wrong soooo wrong!!!! Probably because Im foreign so wasnt taken serious or actually I have better knowledge who knows ..

Shocked at this organisations ethics and level of care. Refused MRI scans after fall through roof of upper neck.. no reason given other than dont think needed! I pay privately to scan herniated disc in my neck. Medical negligence, disregard, budget driven. Shocking, solicitors will be in touch due course!

The receptionist in hinchinbrok are very useless. I wonder if they are trained. Sadly they get paid for doing nothing but giving wrong information and unnecessary long talking and arguments
