My parents did not believe in God.
As an adult I have tried different kinds of churches over the years to try to find God but I always felt totally disconnected and simply observing and convinced it was not for me and left them, feeling more of a disbeliever than when I entered them.
But I feel so different going to the Lighthouse Fellowship. I SO LOVE IT!
I feel connected not only spiritually, but also with the service, and I feel I am taking part in the service.
And I have a feeling of a deep fondness and love for all the amazing people I have met in this church and feeling love for others is what I need, to help me to connect spiritually to God.
I joined a few weeks ago and was immediately treated with such warmth and kindness by everyone.
After the isolation of COVID it's so nice to mix with such lovely people.
Lighthouse Fellowship have a sign saying " A place you can call home" and that is how it felt to me within minutes of arriving.
I am white, and this kind of church was not part of my upbringing or culture but I don't feel an outsider.
I feel like a looked after new comer.
I feel like someone who is just at the beginning of their spiritual journey, surrounded by loving people, that are so willing to help and encourage me.
So if you want to worship God in a joyful way and give and receive love, warmth, friendship, connection, happiness, dancing, great music, interesting engaging exciting sermons etc. why not come along, and feel the amazing positive energy in that room, that as a new comer to all this is so incredible to feel and experience. The power of the spirit and lovely people joined in prayer, helping others and a deep spiritual connection with God.
The Bishop, the Pastors, and the church members, are all such exciting speakers, this is not the church to come too, for a nap!
This is a high energy, deeply spiritual, powerful, loving, exciting, fun, happy, friendly, uplifting, supportive, positive church, congregation and community.
Sunday can not come round soon enough since I started going to this Church!
It's a joy to attend in so many ways.
