The campervan was inspiring nice and up to date: USB sockets everywhere, brightest LED lights inside and in cabinet, great loadspeakers, kitchen utilities, gas included, no fuss refrigerator, five litre water provision, solar panel, diesel heating, charger cable, ramp wedges, at additional charge: bedding and towels. Everything you need for a perfect trip.

We are Australians and hired a long wheel base Ford Transit from Campervan Tours for 3 months to travel though UK and Ireland. From our first contact with Martin we were impressed with the professionalism of the company and all our questions answers quickly and comprehensively. The van was well set up with all we needed for our trip, linen, outside table, chairs etc and was included in the price. Martin provided great on road support and when we had an issue with the leisure batterys it was resolved quickly with his assistance. Campervan Tours is a great company that providers above and beyond friendly service and we would recommend them over the big Van hire companys every time. The size of the van gave us great flexibility that allowed us to travel down some very narrow roads that a bigger van would not have gone. Thanks Martin and Harry.

My wife and I hired a Toleno R Compact Motorhome with Manual Gears for one week to visit Kent and Sussex. It is standing height inside and was very well presented with all basic kitchen equipment etc. We needed to provide our own condiments etc and of course our bedding. The double bed was very comfortable although we needed to be a bit gymnastic to get in and out in the night (we are both 79). It is advertised as a 4 berth van but that meant that the two double beds would have been one above the other with not really enough room to sit up. The van would be a bit crowded with 4 people and does not have an awning to get outside in the sun or rain. The front seats were very comfortable and rotated for sitting at the table. It is a van and quite a climb up to the driver's seat but I got used to it. It is manual with 6 gears. I have an automatic now and the gears and clutch took a little getting used to but it was easy on the main roads. Not surprisingly the gas, electrics, water and waste all took a bit of getting use to but by day 3 we were experts. Will probably rent again if age does not catch up with us.
