They worked around my time schedule for dropping of the vinyl and arrived early on the first day of the fit. They left the place spotless everyday and the floor is absolutely perfect.

Chesterton carpet claimed that once we paid the flooring will be installed within 7 days. We paid on 27 Feb and arranged to delay the start of the work but aimed to finished it by 24 March.
They originally quoted two working days but the installers said it would not be possible - and we did not mind an extra couple days' work.
On 1 April we are still living in a house with exposed staircase and the installer and Chesterton carpet are incapable to provide an estimation about when the stair nosing will be ready. When the material was delivered, Chesterton carpet claims that the installer would provide the rest of the components. On the day of the installation, the installer said it was not the case and they had to drive to Chesterton carpet to pick up more components.
This disconnection has become more problematic as no one informed us anything. When we chased the installer repeatedly, they asked us to follow up with Chesterton carpet, and at this point no one in the shop could give us a clue because one particular person is on leave.
We had to make arrangement with our own work to oversee the work at home and the lack of communication is making any arrangement very difficult.
