I trained with Shaun for about 10 months and, as someone who has been training in martial arts for about 10 years, I can confidently say that training Krav Maga with Shaun has helped me develop something I hadn't achieved in all that time: street-relevant self-defence skills. Shaun teaches techniques for realistic situations for efficient, effective personal protection. He will even teach you defence against weapons and how to use environmental props such as rucksacks to protect yourself. I would say these classes are perfect for beginners because he strips everything down to basics where necessary, and also for seasoned martial artists because he will constructively critique technique and push you to be better. If you are motivated to feel safe in all kinds of situations, take these classes. You will not regret it.

A really good all-abilities group. Classes are structured so that everyone can take part in each activity, altering for fitness levels if need be, and those who are more experienced can stay for a more advanced class later in the evening. Shaun really knows his stuff, and I found it a really welcoming and laid-back environment as someone who was very out of shape!

wholeheartedly recommend it! the class feels very welcoming, a great balance of fitness and exercise with self defence and combatives.
