Friendly and welcoming, traditional Shotokan karate in a central location

If you want to study and practice the Shotokan as it is taught at the JKA HQ - the cradle of the style itself - the Cambridge Karate Dojo is the place to look for. Sensei Ken Hori is a friendly instructor with a keen interest in the technical and functional aspects, other than the competitive ones, of the Art of the Empty Hand.

Surely the best dojo in Cambridge (if not the UK), 5th Dan sensei Kenjiro Hori is incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent teacher - my karate has been transformed in 2 years and now I want to go all the way to black belt
