Alicia is everything we wanted in an Interior Designer. She listened with great patience. We made suggestions and she honed them into shape, she made suggestions and they were brilliant. We had a kitchen/living room area which we did not know what to do with and she transformed it into a much admired, comfortable family space. Alicia project managed everything, always doing what she said she would do, and did it with charisma and fun. Our house needed complete refurbishment including a garage conversion , all to be completed in a very short timespace. Alicia said it was managable and she and her contractors certainly delivered! Throughout the process, we had constant contact with rapid respisiveness and frequent consultation. We were very happy with the final result but on top of that the pleasure of working with such a friendly and amenable crew reduced stress and made it all a smooth ride with reduced stress. We engaged Alicia at AZ Interiors to undertake a complete refurbishment of our newly-purchased apartment in Cambridge, including interior design and project management. Alicia was a delight to work with and did a superb job for us; we cannot recommend her enough. She brought us fresh and interesting ideas for the spaces, and was very attentive to our desires and full of great suggestions for achieving what we wanted. We quickly got to an agreed design that we were happy with, and in a few cases she really went above and beyond in searching out furniture and light fittings to exactly achieve this vision. Her project management was top-notch and everything proceeded seamlessly, with almost no involvement on our part. Her strong working relationships with local tradespeople were a huge benefit, allowing the work to proceed in a timely way and giving us access to some fantastic bespoke joinery. We are delighted with the outcome. It was our first time working with an interior designer and any nervousness we had about the process was quickly allayed by her friendly style and genuine passion for her work. Thank you! Alicia has been great in helping us plan out our extension and the associated interior design. She came in before the build began and really helped us clarify how our spaces could be used to their best advantage. She was very good in taking our broad brief and showing us how it could be improved; her advice helped us make many important improvements to our design and layout. She really helped us solidify in our minds how our spaces could work practically, while maintaining a cohesive feel and being nice to be in. We were impressed in how she adapted to our style and didn't try to railroad her own visions in. The practical improvements to the design more than justified the hour or two we spent with Alicia! We have subsequently had her along later in the build to provide more specific advice on specific fittings and furnishings, and again her advice on colour and design has helped us narrow down the infinite possibilities to a much more manageable range.
