This was my first experience with the Goldwell Kera Silk Keratin treatment and with Ella. I wanted to have this treatment to eliminate frizz. The treatment did not work as advertised on her website and after a few washes I noticed my hair was frizzing and becoming unmanageable. Ella was very slow to get back to me when I complained and did not ask for a photo or request for me to return to the salon so she could see the hair. I requested a refund but she stated she was not able to do this but she did offer to redo the treatment. Due to the condition of my hair, I contacted Goldwell for a second opinion and sent a photo and they advised the retreatment should not be attempted for 3 months and that I should request my money back. The treated hair should not look the condition like in the photo I sent and they said the process she had followed is not one they recognise. In addition, I should have been offered a pre-treatment consultation (there was no consultation except to ask where I wore my parting). I have been left with frizzier hair than before and uneven curls which are difficult to manage. Overall, I am very disappointed and would not recommend Ella to carry out this treatment, which is such a shame as she was very friendly and had initially gained my trust.
