It's gone downhill. Still, quite a lot of equipment (when it's operational) but things like the spa pools being decommissioned (2 out of 3 no longer available), free towels taken away, reduced cafe opening hours... All starts adding up and the membership fee just keeps increasing. I would love if they would offer a gym only membership at a reduced rate. I don't use the classes (can never get on them anyway) and now the spa pool available is the cold one I don't bother with that. An idea for Nuffield to consider. Had this at my last gym (i.e. there was the option to have gym only, gym + pool or classes, or all 3). Will see how it goes over the next few months but I might not be member this time next year.

I am very upset with my membership with Nuffield Health in Cambridge. I had a 1 year membership, which ends at the end of February. However, I was surprisingly charged again on March 1st 2023. The front desk says they will continue to charge me unless I request for cancellation and will charge me 1 month more after cancellation, which is ridiculous because I remember only signing for a 1 year contract. When I signed for the membership for Nuffield Health, they promised to have the hot tub and steam rooms. However, they closed the hot tubs completely half way during my membership time! The payment for the membership is already unjustified because they don't provide as expected, and now they are unlawfully charging me even after my membership time ends! I have not used the gym at all since March 1st after my membership ends and I would like the charge for March back and stop future charges! I complained to them via their website at first, but they ignored me (maybe there're already too many complaints queuing before me?) So I decided to post this publicly here. As the employee of a local company in Cambridge, I will definitely not recommend Nuffield Health Cambridge to any of my colleagues, due to my bad experience.

A shadow of its former self. (With the exception of a couple of members) If there's a way for staff to make your life difficult, they will find it. Prices continually increase while amenities continually decrease.

I hate their lack of emphaty towards the customers. Be aware that if you want to cancel your subscription you have to announce them a month in advance, if you want to freeze it you have to do it before the 15 of each month. Everything is in advance, even to book a class. It's like it's our fault that we can't predict the future. The subscription cancelation procedure is a joke and a spit on customers face. Horrible customer support and services. Would not recommend this place, a place that don't care about people's needs.

I would love if they would offer a gym only membership at a reduced rate. I don't use the classes (can never get on them anyway) and now the spa pool available is the cold one I don't bother with that.
