The gyms okay but not very clean, the showers look theyve not been cleaned properly in a long time

Avoid if you can- so crowded and they never have the aircon on which they spent months fixing (even completely closing for a period of time). I asked a staff member to please turn it on and he dismissed me saying that HR controls it, as if head office has hundreds of aircon remotes. Anyway, I saw a reply from puregym that they're able to override it so pretty sure he was just being lazy :). Commercial gyms only ever do care about money so they push for more members even though their current ones are already spending most of their time waiting around for equipment. Not helped by the fact that it's mostly occupied by large groups of kids. Equipment is alright if it's not out of order but the environment is just not pleasant to work out and de-stress in

Far too hot considering its a place exclusively for people to exercise. At least three pieces of equipment are out of order at any one time. Free Parking is advertised but the machine that prints the validation tickets is broken. Now there is just a sign stating that you just need to talk to the car park attendants. Good luck with trying to communicate with those husks. The gym has rules such as not dropping weights, no grunting, retuning weights to where they belong etc., but they may as well not exist as no one adheres to them. The staff sit around looking at their phones or talking to each other rather than working. The irony is not lost that personal trainers could be so lazy.

A wide range of equipment but the gym itself is poorly maintained. Weights are never put back and machines are rarely un-racked. There are signs asking for people to keep the gym tidy but the staff never enforce any of the rules, despite threats of banning members. No windows and air-con is sporadic at best so prepare to overheat. A lot of the staff seem uninterested and thuggish. Sitting around talking to each other rather than taking an interest in what's going on around them. The 'personal trainers' seem to get the lift up to the gym rather than walk up a single flight of stairs. Make of that what you will. Not too busy in the morning so most equipment is available. There is an abundance of cardio machines that more often than not go completely unused. I understand that PureGym are trying to cater to all needs but the weight to cardio equipment ratio seems very askew.

It is OK for exercising no one bothers you and all the equipment is in decent working order.
