        We went for my birthday having received a voucher via email from the pub. The whole thing was quite a disaster. It took us 20 minutes to receive our first drinks, we waited 50 minutes for starters (no one came to update us), which were edible, then another 30 minutes for our mains. This time someone told us there had been a technical malfunction. Our burgers arrived, which were burnt and chips completely overdone, had clearly been sat there. The 'lashings of cheese' was one square of sweaty cheddar that wasn't even melted and then the gravy had zero flavour and was so runny. All of this cost us 50, thank god for the voucher to be honest. All I can say is that we won't be returning or recommended. Such a shame as it is a gorgeous venue and location.
