I do wish they'd go back to requiring people in the waiting room were masked though. Covid is still a problem, I'd be more comfortable if in that area people were still masked.

The practice manager is ignoring all emails and phone calls. She even fails to acknowledge official complaints for weeks causing distress and anxiety. This further causes problems. They do not respect patient position and push with their own view. I paid for a private service that was not delivered and they asked me to pay again claiming that I refused the service. I would never agree to it. I had to wear a dirty Invisalign aligner for many months because they did not provide me with a retainer that was included in the private treatment cost. Later, they ask me to pay for this again. Very unprofessional team of people.
Later the practice cancelled my NHS dentist appointment without providing me with an alternative NHS practice that can deliver the NHS service for me. They are unable to separate private service issues from the NHS dental care service which is unprofessional on them. Currently, due to COVID restrictions no other practice takes in new NHS patients. I informed them about it and they do not care. The practice manager is incompetent and does not put the patient interest first. This practice manager -Kayleigh- is unable to deliver the job she gets paid for. She blames the patient and fails to see her abusive, insulting attitude. She failed to respond to email, phone calls and thinks it is normal behaviour.
I reported dentist Omar to General Medical Council for his behaviour with the Invisalign and for failing to do the service for which I paid that was included in the contract. He paid for the service in another practice and Kayleigh claims it is a 'gesture of goodwill' to get the service for which I paid.
I had two teeth's affected during the Invisalign therapy with one tooth broken and one tooth pushed deep down the gum.
On top of everything, they fail to treat with care a patient who has reported in medical systems depression and anxiety. They failed to recognise a patient in distress and failed to respond to phone calls, emails, text causing further distress and affecting my mental health therapy. I think they need further training.
These people fail to understand that they have to make adjustments for any patient with disabilities and this involved respecting that I can come late to any meeting. They fail to know about it. They discriminate patients and fail to apologise for their behaviours.

Now for the bad bit. I believe I am suffering from dry socket. I have phoned the practice four times to get checked I have left messages and I am still waiting. The pain is the full side of my face leading into my neck and throat affecting my eye plus pounding headache. After having such wonderful care during my appointments I am left feeling quite dissaponted to have no contact from the surgery and to be left in this pain.
