This is an outstanding school which provides children with the very best start in life. Indeed, one could not ask for more in either the state or independent sector. The teachers and head teacher are fantastic and every child is made to feel valued. The head teacher is present at the end of every day, he knows every child and their family and goes above and beyond anything that one could expect of a head teacher. The school has exceptional academic standards such that there is no doubt that the children are obtaining to the best of their abilities, but it is also truly community spirited in its outlook. There is also a wonderful diverse international community amongst the families at St Albans and this is felt on a day to day basis in the playground and in all the lovely activities that are arranged for children and their families. We could not be happier.

Couldnt recommend this school more! Weve been in the St. Albans Community for 9 years and all my children have had amazing experiences! Staff are very dedicated and caring and Mr. McCrossan, the headteacher, is the best you could hope for - a true leader!

St Alban's is a fantastic school with a wonderful community of parents. The teachers and headmaster are brilliant and very approachable. It achieves great results but there is also a real emphasis on religious education, as well as music and arts. My daughter who is now in year 1 loves it! I highly recommend it.

A small school in central Cambridge with an enormous sense of community spirit. Mr McCrossan the Head and the staff are superb with the children. The PFA are so very active. The limitation is around the size of the grounds, but this is overcome by the school having access to excellent facilities nearby for swimming, athletics etc. Although it is a Catholic primary school , RE is ecumenical and the children learn all about other religions. The intake is very diverse from all corners of the world and religious /belief backgrounds. There is also limited wrap-around care spaces for working parents run by City Kids Playcentre. St Alban's RC Primary is also an excellent feeder to Year 6+ to the many near by private-fee schools and also government schools like St Bedes.
