        Cambridge Building Society Cherry Hinton Branch: Covid regs still in place with hand sanitizer at entrance, markings on the floor. Face masks worn by most customers but not mandatory. Opening times have improved since lockdown with usually 3 staff on. One in the office and two on shielded reception. Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays usually busy early mornings between 9.00 to 10.00. Queuing is orderly and things have definitely began to improve with less waiting times now the society is open for longer hours. Used by myself regularly every week.

        No longer a pleasant place to go, staff are very rude and unfriendly. Can no longer have a conversation in there. Difficult to go in the branch when working and they close at 2pm, and no Saturday opening. Am going to close both my accounts as soon as Im able to get in to the branch again. Plenty of other places I can invest my savings and have access 24/7, for both deposit and withdrawal on line or ATM. So my money is available all over the UK if I wish.
