        On Tuesday 2nd May I woke up in a silent world. I have suffered from excess ear wax for many years, but never anything like this. It was very distressing. After an initial consultation on that day, Kirsty was able to fit me in for wax removal on the next day. She was very consoling in saying that it was probable that wax was the cause (nothing more serious). When she finished she explained what she had done, and I was able to listen to her without my hearing aids! I cannot tell you the sense of relief. The experience made me think how awful profound deafness must be. Here's a rose for Kirsty and the welcoming reception team.
