After pulling off ivy a year ago, plenty of tendrils were left on a wall. These tendrils won't come off on their own. Moreover, they penetrate the brickwork, and a stiff hand brush won't help either.
We hired Prestige External Cleaning, and they managed to remove them with a low-pressure steamed wash without damaging the brickwork and mortar/pointing. The result is stunning! I couldn't believe my eyes.
