Reception staff is incompetent, under-skilled and with poor manners. I stopped going there because of that. One star for Toby who's been a good dentist few times I visited.

What an appalling experience, almost every time I had to contact the practice. I am a person with a serious case of perio since adolescence. That being the case I visit my dentist every three months, sometimes multiple times in a period. Almost all of the encounters with the reception were unpleasant. As I live nearby I tried to ignore this, as the dentist are good and nice -thus the stars. I ignored even that I was treated as a schoolgirl for cancelling but not 24h in advance, twice over the course of two years -which of course was very likely considering newborn baby plus no childcare plus pandemic plus multiple visits arranged in a very short time, but there is a limit. After multiple calls last week to arrange a hygiene and try to avoid having yet another pointless appointment to assess my need for a cosmetic sealing, I went there to find out not only that I took time off work to have again the pointless appointment but the hygiene (which was the main purpose for my visit) was not even booked. Wait, it gets worse. The lady at the desk looked at me and told me literally "you do realize that if this was a hygiene this would be 75?". I think I was shocked by this comment because i gave the ignorant response 'why would that be a problem?'. It took me a while to realize what I was told, as it never occurred to me that someone would say something like that, especially to a customer who has spent several hundreds there only the past six months, but then it hit me. That was it for me, not visiting again. Sure I can walk or take the bus to another practice as my partner and friends do.
