A well equipped house which meet most of your needs. Beach access was an issue with a disabled person in a wheelchair due to the high sand dunes. Eventually we found Winchelsea beach opposite the Co-Op plus one in Chamber Sands. We parked on the road rather than pay 12 parking at Chamber Sands beach.

Saltwater Cottage is a perfect "home from home" in a quiet location and very convenient for the beach at Camber and for using the off-road cycle track to Rye. Dani and Seb are great hosts, quick to respond to questions and happy to accommodate a any requests they can help with. Lots of homely touches are included, e.g. soap in each bathroom, cleaning products and dishwasher tabs. I have no hesitation in recommending Saltwater Cottage to anyone looking for a high quality place to stay in Camber.

Great location, very near to the beach. Great run and cycle routes into Rye. Cosy house with nearly everything you need. Main thing missing was a full length mirror. A house full girls needed a full length mirror. Wasn't as clean as I expected, the dishwasher didn't work to its full potential so we had to rewash everything after realising it wasn't cleaning properly. Overall a great stay

We had a lovely weeks stay in August 2020 4 adults and 2 children. The home is comfortable and has all that is needed also very child friendly. We enjoyed making use of the BBQ and lovely outside space! The location is great - very close to the lovely Camber beach - 5 minute walk. The kids loved the sea and the sand dunes! The life guards were also on duty and kept you informed of the tide patterns! We enjoyed lots of nice meals - some recommendations to try The Owl, The Pilot (Dungeness) The Thai House (Rye) We also enjoyed crabbing at the Rye Harbour and Nature reserve! Obviously due to Covid restrictions booking at restaurants and pubs was usually essential but places could accommodate if u booked a day in advance. Pontins is right on the doorstep with the building not easy to miss - but the noise from there was minimal. The owners were great in communicating with us once the booking was made and helped answer any questions we had. I would recommend staying here.
