Looney Dunes, Camber Holiday Cottage Rental

We had a brilliant week at Looney Dunes - the house is really clean and well-equipped, and bigger than it looks in the photos. It is light and airy, and ideally located - the 2 minute walk to the beach was fantastic during a sunny week in which the traffic into Camber was backed up for miles! The home-made bread and cookies were a delightful welcome. Breakfast at the Clam around the corner was luxurious although I think the teenagers preferred the burgers from the Rye Grill (around another corner!). We enjoyed the mini-pool table, giant jenga, swingball, and board games. Having the conservatory, the living room, and the garden gave us space to spread out. There's plenty to do in the area; as well as Rye, we also visited Battle Abbey and Bodiam Castle.

We stayed at Looney Dunes for a four days at half term and had a fantastic time. The house has everything you need for a beach holiday and more for when the sun doesn't shine. On the day it rained we had a table tennis competition in the conservatory which our girls loved. And when the sun came out we lounged in the garden and had a bbq. The girls loved the huge dunes to get to the beach and they sand sledged down them and they absolutely loved it. We also drove into Rye, 5 mins away, and had diary free ice cream and milkshakes at Noops. Quality cafe and restaurants just a short walk from the house too. We'll be back. Thoroughly recommend.

Myself and my 6 month old had a wonderful holiday at Looney dunes! Its perfect for families and or couples. It had everything my baby would need, a cot, a highchair, a baby bath, toys, books and even a changing mat! The house is really clean and very well equipped. There is a beautiful garden which is perfect for eating outside. Enough parking for two cars as well. Its about a 3 minute walk to the sandy beach which also has a car park attached to it if youre feeling lazy. Rye is only a short car journey away and there are lots of lovely shops and places to eat. Theres a brilliant local Indian takeaway close to the house that delivers and the food is delicious. I cannot wait for another holiday here!
