Colonel Frank Seely Academy

I wouldn't say that it's a bad school, some students turn out great results when they really try and put in the effort, but some forget about that... The students can tend to get slightly out of hand and I personally believe the teachers have a hard time controlling them. There are students that do really well and move on to do degrees in university! I prefer schools such as the Minster however it's the parents choice! Don't let your kids choose as they will make new friends wherever they go, especially at such young ages! If you're even slightly uneasy about a school, then don't choose it. My daughter wanted to go to Colonel Frank Seely but I wanted her to go to Southwell Minster and now she thanks me for not letting her go as her old 'friends' are now hanging out on the park swearing, loitering and getting in all kinds of trouble. But if you're certain that you do like the school then pick it.

In my opinion it is a great school with great staff, and the current headtecher has made the school alot better, but the only problem I have is that the new school uniform is quite expensive.
