Fantastic pub. Well, worth a visit

Slightly torn on this one, the pub and patrons are great, but some bar staff are a little shall we say "snowflake" I'm guilty of spending a small fortune nightly here but recently it's changed and I won't visit again. Hire young staff who don't understand banter is a shot in the foot. If your feelings are hurt by a little banter the bar ain't your place.

We had a family and friends get-together yesterday to celebrate my late stepfather's passing. The landlord set aside part of the bar area so we could all be together. He and his staff were brilliant, and nothing was too much trouble when we asked for things that we required. I would just like to thank them all very much for making the afternoon/early evening a really good experience. We would certainly recommend the pub,him and his staff and would certainly use the pub again for other family get-togethers.
