we choose matt initially because he was the most transparent about what work he would be doing and what work we would have to arrange ourselves and answered all our questions with confidence. out of all the quotes we got from other builders we felt that matt was the right person for the job. we had two extensions built a kitchen and utility room . from start to finish the work run smoothly , matt and his team were honest and very reliable . very patient even when we added more work with having our driveway blocked paved and our back garden landscaped . Excellent workmanship .would highly recommend.

We employed Homeland BS to repair and upgrade our dormer roof. I found Matthew and his co-worker friendly and polite and they made sure I was happy with the work they were doing. The work they did was well finished and of a high standard and it was completed within the stated time frame. We are very happy with the finished product and would definitely employ Homeland Building Services in the future.

Matt built us a block paving driveway, using real Yorkshire stone blocks. The driveway has been down for a year now and it hasn't budged an inch and still looks great. I would happily recommend Matt to anyone with a building project. Tim

We are delighted with the extension and landscaping work Matt and Homeland have done. We knew exactly what to expect from the detailed quote, and the extension went up in great time quite a few of our neighbours remarked on how quickly it all came together. Matt also set us up with an electrician, a plumber, plasterers and a gas engineer which made the whole process much easier. It was clear throughout that Homeland set very high standards for themselves which they definitely met. The whole team was reliable, considerate and responsive and Matt always kept us informed. I was pregnant during the works and they were really good about letting us know in advance when dusty/noisy work would be happening. Homeland surpassed all our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

Matt and Homeland Building have done 3 jobs for us - partitioning our bathroom, building our back garden and paving our driveway. In every case the work they have done is fantastic and of a very high standard. As part of the bathroom works we needed a plumber, an electrician and plasterers, and Matt organized it all so it happened seamlessly. In addition, the quality of service has been excellent. Matt kept us up to date with the works and was ready to help us with our latest 'one more thing'. I work from home and he always made sure that the house was quiet when I had customers over. When the work was inside, they kept the house spotless (no small task when walls are being knocked through), and when the work was outside, they made sure that they didn't inconvenience the neighbours. In short, I would definitely recommend Homeland Building Services to anyone who wants interior or exterior building work done.
