Mariners House Calstock

Lovely house in a beautiful area next to the river Tamar. The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. It had everything we needed from great beds, loads of fresh towels, a dishwasher and tumble dryer, through to a log burning stove. The host was excellent at communicating the check-in process and dealing with any questions we had during our stay, which included the best place locally to celebrate a big birthday (we ended up going to The Boot pub in the village which I can recommend). We were a family of 5 of all generations who had wonderful time, were very sad to leave and hope to return.

Very comfortable accommodation in the historic Mariners House in idyllic Calstock. Situated in a quaint street just a stone's throw from two pubs and the river (views from the bedroom), this charming house is ideal for families wanting to get away from it all! It's clean and spacious with a fabulous kitchen area and all the amenities you could possibly ask for. Lovely walk & visit to Cotehele recommended. Thank you very much, Lorraine!
