Galleon House is fantastic, my advice would be to book now and read this review later in case your dates go... that is how good Galleon House is. From the booking to leaving the communication was brilliant and so accommodating, beds were made up for my children and there was information on the area within the house on a very funky tablet. The whole cottage is fantastic and so comfortable with everything you need for a good stay, lots of pots, pans, cups, plates and a brilliant coffee machine - you name it, you will find it - including WIFI, just in case you need it.... The rooms are so clean, bright and very comfortable the master bedroom with the view of the Tamar is perfect to wake up to.. There is a large ensuite with both a freestanding bath and shower. The two double and twin rooms are lovely, again with plenty of storage and views from the back room. My children kids loved the rooms, and to see the old school desk in the twin room, bought back some memories of school. The village is lovely, ice creams, pasties and pubs what more do you need... The only problem we found was that we booked 1 week, we should have booked 2 weeks ! We have had the best holiday and in these COVID times we found it easy to forget once inside the house and enjoy family time... The house has hand gel to use when you arrive and we stripped the beds before we left to keep to COVID rules.... We will be looking to go back... just hope the dates we want will be free :-)
