We stayed in lodge 51 and was fantastic, the owner Val was fantastic with treats for us and our cockerpoo star, you couldn't fault the lodge and hot tub,but now comes the bad points, the driveway is in need of repairs ASAP not good driving over which leads me onto the Honicombe pub we as a family went in to the pub a couple of time manly early evening for a drink well be prepared for local workers to be taking over the bar area and using foul language I had to have a word with one of the bar staff about it and the next time we went in there the same blokes were still there with a great selection of words this is not accepted in any family pub and when you see the staff standing there whilst this goes on,well I hope the management are pleased with them.

stopped in lodge 1 and it was lovely and cosy . Pub was good with a good selection of beers and food . The site is tidy and my only gripe is that the site seem to be trying to keep up with the state of the roads outside of the site . There's big deep potholes all over the site which should be filled asap as it makes the site look like a dump also the speed bumps are waaaaay too high unless you're driving a tractor and can quite easily damage your cars suspension even when crawling over them .

Just went for a Sunday lunch.. We were stood for 10mins before any acknowledgement for any staff then was pointed to a table and we had to look for the numbers on the tags. The Carvery..the meat was excellent but the swede was so peppery and the cauliflower cheese tasted like it was soaked in vinegar. The potatoes had no colour and were hard and we waited over 15mins each to be served at the carvery. Oh and the gravy was almost empty so was difficult to get any out. Overall experience was not very good and we will not be returning.

Our accommodation was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The site seemed a little run down in places, and was a bit out in the sticks. If you didnt have a car to get around in I feel it would be a bit boring staying on site all the time. Other guests in neighbouring accommodation were a little selfish when it came to parking their vehicles. We only had the one car some of the other holiday makers had 3+ it was pot luck where you could park after coming back from a trip out. We had to park right at the top of the site and walk down with shopping and our bags. On walking round the site we felt that a lot of the other holiday makers didnt stick to the 5mph speed limit. One last thing please could you invest on some proper defined pathways for pedestrians. Its literally survival of the fittest when out walking. Thank you.
