We stayed for 7 days in August and had an excellent time. The owners Steve and Pippa are lovelly and greeted us with a jug of fresh milk on arrival. The caravan was clean and catered for all our needs, it had a litlle hd tv with all the channels working, it had plenty of kitchen utencils, microwave, gas cooker ,and gas heater in the living room, there was no trouble with hot water. We really liked the privacy that you dont het in the holiday parks ,there is only two caravans with each having their own private fenced area with a picnic bench and a barbecue. We embraced temperamental mobile network and instead of being glued to our phones in the evening we interacted with eachother and played boardgames together. On our arrival there was coffee and tea basket waiting for us and plenty of leaflets with local atraction which we found very helpful. It is a lovely and tranquil area , we was surrounded by fields and enjoyed looking at owners horse every morning, Steve also let us use the other field to play Babington and was very kind to cut the grass for us. It took us about an hour in a car to get to most places like Looe, Polperro,Bodmin jail, Plymouth, Tintagel, Boscastle and more. This spot is ideal for a family with a car who enjoy peace and privacy. We fell in love with the owners dog called Taz, she is a very good farm dog ,she followed Steve everywhere and greeted us every morning she was weary of us at the beginning, but with help of couple of treats I think we bribed her. Steve made an effort and trained her each time to take a treat from me and towards the end we managed to do it. We had a really nice time and will be definitely coming back to see Taz again. I totally recommend for a nice familly holiday .

Great owners. Very nice spot. Nice warm shower, comfortable beds. Quiet. Dartmoor quite close by car. Plenty of other interesting places to visit. Really like it there.

Lovely setting with views over Devon and North Cornwall. Ideal base for visiting both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. South and north coasts easily reached in little over an hour. Local walks can take in many remains of the Cornish tin and copper mining history. In a field next door, are the ruins of a Cornish engine house which were the inspiration for 'The Curse of Wheal Hingston', a novel exploring the history and dangers faced by miners and the punishments they faced if breaking the strict Stannary Law.
