        The location is great but thats where it stops. Everything was a little run down and drabby. We only seemed to get 1 shower working anywhere near hot. The furnishings have seen better days. Then we move to the beds. Imagine a 6ft car sponge, well now try sleeping on it. By mid week we were in agony with our backs to the point where we gave up and left. The host offered toppers, mmm more soggy sponge. We even tried moving to the single beds but they were no better. Really was a total shambles.

        We took a short break in Cornwall early this year staying at trehill cottages. We enjoyed it immensely so definitely planning to return once the weather gets better. The owners were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the local area. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage which afforded us plenty of space. Kitchen facilities were great and very well equipped. We had a lovely terrace though sadly due to winter weather were not able to take advantage. Highly recommended but you must book early as they they get booked up very early!
