I came to Michael with a big project involving a UK celebrity but it was highly unorganized at the start. He was extremely patient and willing to work with us as more information unsurfaced. Id admired Michaels work from afar for years and in 2018 was lucky enough to get to commission and art direct him on a shoot in South Africa. From a loose idea about what we wanted to achieve, Michael was able to bring the whole thing together, also recommending great production partners. We shot an image library for a healthcare company in and around Cape Town with multiple setups and models. The client needed around 40 images, the output was so good they ended up choosing over 100. Michael is a true master of his craft, a consummate professional and a good person to fly half way round d the world with to shoot a big job. We did a shoot together in South Africa for One Life, a Luxemborgian Insurance company. It's still, in my 20yrs of design, my favourite shoot. We worked with Michael a couple of years ago on a large advertising shoot for Grey Goose in Cape Town SA. We shot the still life and Michael the life style elements of the campaign.
