Hudscales Farm and Camping Barn

This is one in a series of camping barns in our number of trips to the Lakes with a group of friends from university. We are aiming to complete the Wainwrights over a period of time. I'd love to tell you which ones are in the local area but I'm only a follower on this quest, ask Rich for more details. I think Blencathra is nearby, that was a good one but it was misty when we went - not sure if it still is. Would rank this as my favourite of our camping barns so far, equipped with enough space for 10 people, a pool table upstairs in a common room and a nice fire that we couldn't get going but the Scottish family we shared the place with could. They didn't really let us sit there though.

Simple back to basics place. Everything you need. Stunning location. We did a biking weekend with the lads. Bbq and beers outside. Wonderful. Highly recommended
