Not sure if anyone else has experienced this level of customer service from this company? I rang them today to ask for a contact so I could e-mail them a list of stainless products to quote on. The immediate response was that they don't deal with distributors! I explained I was neither a distributor or stockholder - but the sales person presumed this due to my business' listing on Google as "Steel Distributor" (the closest match to the service our business offers and simply a loose overview as the only other option to list is Steel Stockholder, which we are not) without any further questioning... I explained our business was like a personal buyer for customers in our area looking for products such as this and our job was to gather the prices and availability in, and then place an order with a supplier such as RAA in which our supplier would deliver direct to our clients...Unfortunately the sales person said he would have to speak to the powers that be and within 10 minutes an e-mail arrived saying "Sorry Clive, we are unable to supply." I understand companies have the right to supply or not supply at their discretion but how unprofessional this communication is from an established company like RAA. Not only haven't they taken just a few minutes to get to know me or the potential of business we could do, but the arrogance of an answer like this in my humble opinion, a company like this does not deserve anyone's business and they should take a serious look at their own website and update it accordingly, highlighting who and who not they would like to deal with. This is arrogance at it's highest level and a simple flaw in RAA's communication with potential customers... Disappointed.
