Went there today for the first time ever and I can safely say that it is my favourite pub nearby! Will definitely become a regular! Love the atmosphere, the decorations, the outside area, and, above all, the ginornous handsome dog! Will try to be back there once a week if I gain the courage to walk up Harper Hill, hehehe!

Welcoming service. Treated us fairly on the feeding of two small grandchildren on Roast day. The roast was lovely; choice of beef, ham or pork with all the trimmings. Desserts were home made; I nailed the fruit crumble-very good. To top it off, City were on TV in the bar.
