        My 58 year old husband was in the Portland nursing home in Buxton for 18 months and I went to visit him twice a day,every day for the time he was in there. The care that he received was absolutely outstanding. I always felt that staff genuinely cared and knew him. He was treated with the greatest kindness and respect at all times.

        A fantastic place. My grandma, Ruth Elvin, was in this home for more than 5 years until she passed away. She received the best care she could ever have received and the staff are some of the best people I have ever met. Highly recommend
