the branksome lost a good manager last year, brought in a new one and what a turnaround job the new manager did in under 6 months taking the service to an embarrassing Inadequate rating with cqc. Maybe the CEO of the company needs to get rid of some of the regional managers who are constantly making poor decisions and are obviously not doing their jobs properly. 20+ managers in around 4 years shows that something is not working there.

A nursing home ruined by what some people might see as an incompetent regional manager and their regional support team (I use the word 'manager' very loosely) they should take most of the responsibility for the failings with this home. Making bad decisions, constant bullying tactics and belittling staff who work there is not the way to help a home, staff and residents. Hope you guys are happy with the paths you decided to follow in order to get the home to where it is now, an Inadequate CQC rating As someone stated in another review 20 or more managers in a short period of time I'm guessing it shows the failings of a company and its regional management team who do not help or support the staff they are paid to help. Who actually employs these people?

The Tenor absolutely loves visiting this beautiful home in the heart of the Peak District, with beautiful grounds and a beautiful building its really has a Executive feel about the place. The Staff are all very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The Tenor is a well known sought after singer and always talks fondly of his time at The Branksome. The Residents all seem so happy.

Superb building with a very welcoming entrance, as an entertainer l mainly play one of the ground floor lounges which are clean and spacious, all the staff l have met are extremely friendly and along with the activities co-ordinator are very helpful with regards me setting up . THe Residents look very happy and there is always plenty of staff on hand to assist them if necessary . I recently played a concert for the Residents outdoors in the Branksome's amazing gardens, which are very well maintained. A wonderful Care Home which l always enjoy visiting , definitely one of Derbyshires finest . Andy Cahill (Entertainer)
